Mist eliminators are the invisible heroes in process engineering. They reliably separate liquids and gases - in chemical and petrochemical plants, in environmental and process engineering and in steam boilers.
This is how it works:
Several layers of our knitted wire mesh are laid on top of each other to form a porous but dense net. When vapour flows through, droplets collide with resistances in the knitted mesh, collect and drip off - while the gas continues to flow.
The result:
- High separation efficiency with low pressure loss
- Mechanical stability & durability
- Even power distribution for maximum efficiency
We adapt our mist eliminators precisely to new or existing systems - from the small football format to the size of a garden pool (Ø up to 7,000 mm!) and even larger.
Areas of application:
- Gas-air wash
- Distillation and absorption columns
- Steam boiler
- Seawater desalination plants (as vaporisers)
Flexibility is our strength: installed horizontally or vertically, with or without support grids, made of metal or plastic - customised to your requirements.
